10.Is a Graduate of a correspondence/distance education program eligible to apply for SIBM Pune MBA?

Student graduated from any of the UGC recognized University is eligible to apply for the programme

11.What is the percentage required in graduation to apply for your full time MBA course?

Eligibility: - A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)at graduation level. Students appearing for their final year appearing can apply but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University).

12.Does SIBM have a correspondence MBA programme?

SIBM does not have a correspondence programme.But a Distance Learning Program is conducted by Symbiosis through SCDL.For more details please visit www.scdl.net

13.Are any seats against capitation fees available for MBA programmes?

No capitation or donation is charged by any institute of Symbiosis.

The campus is 17 kms. from the Symbiosis campus on S.B. Road, Pune, 28 Kms. From Lohagaon Airport, 19 km from Pune Railway station. Yes,the total SNAP score will be considered for the Group Interaction and Personal Interaction short listing.

No, there is no such quota in SIBM, Pune. All NRIs are considered under International students category.

23.After registering with the institute, do I have to send any document(s) to the respective institute?

Yes,the pay in slip must be sent to the institute in case the payment is made through cash at AXIS bank or DD.

24.How the payment through Demand Draft (DD) can be made?

Get a demand draft for Rs.1000/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Director, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management” payable at Pune. 27.Should I have work experience to apply for SIBM, Pune?

No,Even the Fresh appearing student can apply for the programme.

28.Does the previous work experience have any weight age in selection criteria?

Yes,the weightage is given to the work ex during the final selection process.

There is no specific book or guide recommended, but you can refer to the general knowledge guides, watch current news that occur in print or television etc.

Yes.Hostel facility is provided to students.

33.What would be cut-off marks for SIBM Pune?

A candidate will be shortlisted only if he has registered and paid for SIBM Pune and has cleared overall exam in SNAP 2010 as decided by the institute.
