SCIE Application ID
  • I have received SCIE Application ID & Password, what can I use it for?

    You can use the Application ID & password to fill in the application form, view / print the form, check MyMail, Modify Personal details, Check the status of your application

  • I could not register online for SCIE, since the following error message appeared - "Java Script Error".

    Please use Internet Explorer Ver 6.0 or above. This application also supports Mozilla and Google Chrome

  • I could not register online, as I am not able to proceed after "I agree".

    This application uses JavaScript Please make sure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser. To enable JavaScript Go to: Tools>>Internet Options>>Security>>Custom Level. Scroll down until you see section labelled 'Scripting' Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK. “Click refresh” and do the registration again.

    Changes in Application form

  • If I want to make any changes in my application form or I want to change my Program Preferences?

    Post Registration

  • I have registered online and made all the payment. What is the next step?

    If you have made online payment then system will automatically update your payment status. However if you have paid through Offline mode then you will have to send your relevant payment details to [email protected] along with your SCIE Application ID, Name and the Country you have the transaction from.

  • When will I get my prospectus & information booklet?

    After authentication of your payment we will arrange a copy of prospectus to be sent to your address of correspondence.

  • What will be next step of my application?

    After authentication of payment your application will be verified and observed if you have uploaded correct set of documents. Only if we have received correct documents your application will be forwarded to the Admission Committee for assessment.

    About English proficiency exam

  • Who shall appear for English proficiency exam?

    Foreign Nationals, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will have to appear for English Proficiency Exam.

  • Which exam result do you accept?

         At Symbiosis we accept only IELTS or IELA scores; we do not accept TOFEL score.

  • What is IELA?

    ‘International English Language Assessment’ this is a test conducted by Symbiosis. Students those who cannot appear for IELTS exam and want to appear for IELA can get them register while completing the Online Application.

  • What will be the minimum score I will require?

    For IELA minimum 50 marks out of 150 and for IELTS minimum band 6.



  • Which module do I opt for IELTS?

    You are required to take ‘Academic module’

    About SNAP
  • Do I have to appear for SNAP test?

    If you fall under NRI category and if you have completed your 12th Standard (10+2) education outside India and have completed or appearing your Bachelor / Graduate level exam in India then you will have to appear for SNAP test.
